Montreal, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 - L'International des Feux Loto-Québec presented by TELUS will present its fantastic 25th edition in 2009! The competition will be opened by a fabulous non-competitive opening show to celebrate the 25th anniversary. A company from the Province of Québec will represent Canada in competition with delegations from Argentina, Australia, England/United Kingdom, Hong Kong/China, South Africa, Spain and the United States. For the first time in Montreal fireworks history, pyrotechniccompanies from all the continents will be present. This Christmas, give the gift of the stars!
Starting on Thursday December 10, tickets can be purchased for this event, which already promises to be a historic one. To celebrate the 25th edition, tickets for this unique first firework will be available for $25 (limited quantity).
In 2009, all pyromusical shows will be presented on Saturday nights from June 13 to August 15. Last June, the New York Times deemed the shows “exclamation marks” punctuating Montreal's lifestyle.
